June 4, 2012 -- The Boyd Group Inc. (the "Boyd Group") today announced the launch of a collision repair center in Orlando, Florida which commenced operations on May 30, 2012 as well as the acquisition of another new location in Jessup, Maryland on May 25, 2012. Both repair centers will operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. This brings the total number of U.S. locations in operation to 141 with two additional locations acquired, soon to be in operation.

April 23, 2012 - Gerber Collision & Glass, a member of the National Auto Body Council (NABC) has restored a vehicle as part of a nationwide vehicle donation program called Recycled Rides. Recycled Rides is a community awareness project whereby members of NABC repair and donate recycled vehicles to people in need. Gerber Collision & Glass is refurbishing a 2009 Chevy Cobalt, donated by Farmers Insurance.

The new repair center, previously known as Body Craft Collision Center, will operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name and is approximately 12,200 square feet in size, with 10,000 square feet of production space. The center, previously known as Advanced Collision Solutions, was recently acquired by the Boyd Group and now operates under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name. The new center is approximately 10,000 square feet in size, with 8,500 square feet of production space.
