March 19, 2012 -- The Boyd Group Inc. (the "Boyd Group") today announced the acquisition of a collision repair center in Marysville, Washington. The Boyd Group now owns and operates 12 locations in Washington, which brings the total number of U.S. locations to 139.
The new repair center, previously known as Body Craft Collision Center, will operate under the Gerber Collision & Glass trade name and is approximately 12,200 square feet in size, with 10,000 square feet of production space. This new center is complementary to existing locations, expanding service coverage in the local market.
"This new center is located in the rapidly growing city of Marysville, an area which has seen it's population increase by 137% over the last 10 years," said Tim O'Day, President and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations.
