I was incredibly impressed with the care and service I received from Gerber Collision in Downers Grove!! In particular, I was very impressed with Gary Wilmoth, who managed my case, and the young lady at the front desk who checked me in and out. Gary was very thorough, calm and reassuring. He kept me informed all along the way and facilitated a rapid and yet thoroughly complete repair process, including unexpected discoveries once the bumper was removed. The repair service was remarkably speedy, and yet my car looks brand new! Gary was professional and personable - a hard combination to find just about anywhere these. Also, when I was checking out, the insurance company still showed I owed a deductible, even though I was not responsible for the accident. The young lady at the front desk (I can't believe I am blanking on her name!), ... voluntarily went out of her way to call the insurance company to determine if there was any change to the status of the claim. in fact, after she called, the insurance company looked into the progress of the claim again and found that the deductible was waved. She handled herself with pleasant professionalism the entire time, even though it took awhile, and other customers were beginning to line-up. From start to finish, my experience with this Gerber Collision location is unparalleled! I would highly recommend them to anyone, hands down!! Fantastic experience!! Five Stars!! The Gerber shop did an excellent job with my car. My car absolutely looks like new and it's impossible to tell that the car was damaged at all in the first place. Also, the staff was very professional, explained everything well, and accommodated my scheduling needs for the repair. There's really nothing else I could have asked for in this work.

Everyone one was very professional, and the work was done in a timely manner. Very happy with the service. Gerber should look to better brand its image in the public. I had no idea that the company function at this high level, that it guaranteed its work product for life, or that you could go to any store for follow-up work. Perhaps you could have JD Power & Associates or Consumer Reports or other reporting agency review your company to get the Gerber story out to the public.

I just picked up my car on the date promised and couldn't be more pleased with the work Gerber did. Not only did the job take the number of days promised but it is in far better shape than when I dropped it off, INSIDE and out!!! This firm seems to have good working relationships with offsite vendors and their own experts enabling them to live up to the promises made and make their customers happy. I will never have to think twice about who to call if and when I need collision repairs again.

He was very involved, passionate, honest and Square with all his dealing toward resolving a significant problem that I was having after my Convertible-Ford Mustang was fixed at this facility. "I gave them my car, it needed repairs to the right front fender/bumper area and to the rear quarter panel. When making the estimate they said, "do you want to leave us the car? We will start on it immediately." I was expecting that! I thought it would be a couple weeks. So, I left it and they started on it. They helped me with the rental car; it couldn't have been easier. I felt Gerber handled everything professionally, and they did everything they said they would do. Great experience! I will use Gerber if have other body work, and I will recommend Gerber to all my family and friends."
