It was my second time using Gerber Collision & Glass. It is always a very stressful time in someone's life to get their car fixed. I was impressed by how the manager did not want to take a short cut to fix my car. I would recommend this place.

I want to give a Big "Thank You" to Bill and the people and Gerber Collision, Round Lake IL. We had recently been displaced by a house fire, and was living in a hotel a few towns away. Which was bad enough, but we were managing. Then just before school started, my 17 yr old son got in a small accident. Nobody hurt, but the car needed some work, and quickly, because he needed to get to school there wasn't a bus to pick him up at the hotel. On top of that, we needed our older son to help take our younger son to school too. Bill was able to get us in and repaired very quickly (I think it just a few days, certainly it was less than a week). He was so nice, and helped me out when things just were not going my way.Thank You Bill V. and all the people at the Round Lake facility You Guys Rock !!!!!!

I took my 2013 Ram 2500 to Gerber to have a couple of small rust spots in my wheel well removed, one other small rust spot (from a rock chip), and a small dent removed by "paint-less dent removal". I've had other vehicles repaired at this location and they've always done a good job. I dropped off my truck this time and got an estimate. Bill's (the General Manager of the shop) estimate was for appx. 730.00. I was fine with that as it seemed fair to me. After they started working on my truck, bill called me and sent me a text message with a picture of the rusty area in my wheel well. There was more rust under the paint. He said there may be more work involved (in my head I'm thinking more expensive). I told him to go ahead and do whatever he had to do to make it right. I just picked up my truck, and all of the work looked great, ... just like when it came from the factory. I went in to pay the bill, and it was 200.00 cheaper than the initial estimate! I questioned the reason, since there was more work done than initially estimated. Bill explained his reason, and needless to say I was very pleased! If/when I need any body work done in the future I will definitely go to Gerber again. Attached are two pictures of ONE SPOT (of the three that needed work). I don't have pictures of the work after it was completed because I just picked up my truck, and it's raining out. But I am completely satisfied with their finished product. read more

No one likes to have their car in the shop for repairs. However, the experience I received from Nick and Jessica at Gerber was exceptional. They kept me up to date on the progress of the repairs and completed the job ahead of schedule. The car looks great! I have no complaints and, if I need to, will use Gerber again.
