"I received by far the best service I have ever received at a collision repair center in dealing with Gerber. I originally chose Gerber to do the work due to their sponsorship of the Chicago Blackhawks, figuring that one world class organization would only do business with another of the same type and standards. I was not disappointed, Gerber is the "Stanley Cup Champion" of collision repair. Everyone from Bill the General Manager to the girls in the office were professional and helpful at all times, and the work on my car was completed flawlessly and in a very timely fashion. They handled everything from dealing with the insurance company, to arranging for a rental car with pure professionalism. I cannot recommend them highly enough, their service from start to finish was definitely WORLD CLASS."

I am very impressed with the workmanship as well as the customer service I recieved from Gerber. I recieved a phone call the morning that I brought my car in and was told that once the car was disassembled there was additional hidden dmage discovered which meant that instead of being able to repair those parts, they would need to be replaced. Tim told me that those parts probably wouldn't arrive until the following afternoon, thus delaying the total repair time by a day or two. After that I received a call every day or two with a status update and assurance that the car was still on schedule to be completed by the revised date. I really appreciate the information that was given to me with the original estimate explaining the stages of auto body repair work, because I didn't know what they were, or how long each of those stages takes to ... complete for a repair like mine. When I recieved status updates, I was always told what stage of repair my car was in and how long it was estimated to be in that stage. My car was repaired right on time, and I was kept informed of the progress throughout the process. It's been a long time since I had to have my car repaired at a body shop, and I've never had one repaired by Gerber before, but the other body shops that I've dealt with in the past have done nice work on my vehicles, but a terrible job of communicating what's going on. I was given estimated completion dates, and when I went to pick my car up it wasn't ready - no phone call either. Those repairs were delayed for weeks, and I got the feeling all along that they hadn't even started the repairs until well after I dropped the car off to be repaired. Communication goes such a long way! Even when it's not what a customer wants to hear, at least they know what's going on. I appreciate the summarized information regarding the stages of body repair work, including what's involved with each of those stages, and how long they should take depending on the extent of the damage. Also there was an Enterprise satelite office located right at the Gerber Ato body shop so I didn't even have to put any thought into where to get a rental or where to drop one off later - it was right there. I didn't need to inconvenience anyone else for a ride. Thansk for thinking of that too! Thanks Tim, Jenny and Laura! You all did a great job of keeping me informed and getting my car done on time!
