Five stars for Gerber Collision & Glass Rocky Mount (only because we couldn't give more)! After striking a deer on I-95 South (over five hours from home), our insurance company directed us to Gerber to get our car back on the road. The damage was extensive, and we were worried that our vehicle was beyond repair. After completing a careful inspection, the Gerber team came up with a repair plan and proceeded to do top quality work. It was clear that the safety of the vehicle was their top priority - and some of the modern electronics in our car made that challenging (e.g., distance sensors and lane detection sensors were all impacted by the accident). The Gerber team repaired it all, thoroughly tested the vehicle, and got everything back to fully working order - as good as new! The car looks fantastic and handles great after the repair. ... I am amazed and grateful at the help I received today. I was on interstate travel, had a previous issue that had not yet been repaired, and my car suddenly was in trouble on I-95. I showed up early in the morning, with no appointment, hoping they might be able to provide a quick fix so I could continue my trip. So, to be clear, I was asking for a quick fix, and they knew I would not be using their shop for the full repair. First I saw Amanda, who was reassuring, kind, and knowledgeable. She then brought Chris out to take a look and see what he could do. He confidently and promptly mended my bumper so it would stay attached, was very reassuring and good-natured. They charged me nothing, wished me a good journey. Thanks to these good people, I was able to do so, all is well, and I'll be contacting Gerber in my home state. I've used Gerber Collision in Rocky Mount NC on another claim but today I must say their service was above the rest. Yes, I had hit a mail box and messed up rear panel on my Lexus. I wasn't looking forward to being without my car to have repairs done with Allstate claim. Amanda came out to check damages for estimate a few minutes after I arrived She was very professional and asked I go back inside. It was super Hot. Anyway with her miracle tonic and clothe she removed paint from my car. What I thought was gonna be replacing rear side panel was only surface damage and Amanda spotted it dead on the money. I talked to receptionist before I arrived and she was wonderful very nice and very helpful. Took my car in and she was just as nice in person. I talked with Jeramy N. and he did my estimate right then and was very quick about it. He ordered parts I took it back for repair and it only took several days. While they had my car they arranged for me to get a rental from enterprise.
