I can't say enough good things about Gerber on Bardstown Road. I have used another body shop for 30 years and due to their retirement I came to Gerber. They are awesome. They completed my job in a record amount of time ( no sooner than I got my rental car, I was returning it to pickup my vehicle.) The workmanship was top notch, paint matched perfectly, they were friendly and professional to work with. One surprising note I didn't notice until a couple of days later: they washed and cleaned my car, but they scrubbed my auto tag and replaced the nasty screws that were holding it in place. Who else would replace the screws on your tag which had nothing to do with the damage ont he front of my vehicle. Give them a call, you will not regret it.

From walking into the shop, Shaun and Kenya were both readily available to help me. I had been through a lot with my car with all of the break-ins. Shaun and Kenya stayed in contact with me through the entire process and were very hands-on when issues arose with my car. I really think that this one of the BEST experiences that I've had with mechanics in this city. Especially as someone who is femme or female presenting, I didn't feel like I was being talked down to about issues, and I felt like I was heard. I appreciate the patience that they had during the repairs, and not projecting frustrations onto me, as I have previously experienced in other places. I will definitely be back, and they have gained a valued and grateful customer!

They had my car for 7 months due waiting on parts but it was worth the wait, I'd missed my car and it looked brand new when I got it 2 weeks ago.. I appreciate the twice a week messages about my car's progress. My car feels good and drives even better.. although nothing was wrong until the accident but I'm thankful and happy with my service. I was amazed at how quickly my car was repaired and how the exterior was cleaned. Jeff and AJ were very personable and professional in making sure that the job was done correctly and In a timely manner. Actually, my car was finished two days early. I am retired & on limited income. I hit a jutting out hitch in a Kroger parking lot ( which I could not see ). Due to the amount, & what I had to pay as my deductible, it was best I pay directly for the repair. They understood how upset I was, & since there wasn't any other damage to my front bumper, & it was my only car, the repair was done in one day. They even brought me home after I dropped it off in the am & picked me up in the pm. Professional service from employees who cared about their customers! Thank you.
