I had some work done recently on my car. Elizabeth took care of me. She was friendly and didn't laugh at me for running into my garage door! A replacement mirror was going to be on back order for quite some time, she took the time to look for a replacement part for me. My car was fixed in 2 weeks. I truly appreciated her effort. My experience today with Gerber Collision, specifically the very friendly woman at the front desk and, especially an employee named Hannah, was phenomenal. I simply stopped in to see if someone could give me an idea of what kind of awful scratch was on my back passenger door that occurred sometime between yesterday evening parked at my home and this morning in the DMV parking lot. I am quite diligent about checking my truck when taking it anywhere. However, did not upon coming home this morning until getting the mail. Instead of setting up an appointment, Hannah who was waiting on an appointment of her own to come in... offered to come out and look at my truck. She was without answer as to what it could be as was I. I was torn up inside as this is a beautiful "new" to us Yukon XL Denali that we traveled 16 hrs round trip to get. ... We work hard to take good care of it. She then asked to take it into their paint shop and I said yes. Not ten minutes later she returned with my beautiful truck good as new. Scratch was pretty much completely gone for the eye to see. I forget what she said they put on it, paint thinner possibly. I was so happy and thankful that's all I could focus on. I will always come back to this place! That is how you treat customers. My being there benefited them in no way and yet they went above and beyond to get me in and to do whatever was done to make it " new" again! I just wanted to take a couple minutes and thank Gerber Collision in Canandaigua for the AWESOME SERVICE! My Kia Forte looks as good as new. The estimator, Hannah, was so nice to work with! Due to my lack of experience (thankfully), this process hasn't been the easiest for me but Hannah put me at ease and was professional, friendly, and very helpful with answering my questions! I really appreciated the updates on the progress of my car. The receptionist, Donna was always very pleasant when I would call the shop with any questions. Hannah is amazing she is so polite and courteous. The collision shop did an awesome job on the repairs and they even vacuumed out the 100lbs of dog hair in my car. Looks brand new inside and out. Highly recommended. Thank you everyone at Gerber Collision. Fantastic job!
